Bethesda Softworks and Tango Gameworks are thrilled to announce that their critically acclaimed rhythm action game, Hi-Fi RUSH, is blasting onto PlayStation 5 consoles on March 19th, 2024. Following its successful launch on Xbox Series X|S and PC in January 2023, the game has garnered over 20 perfect scores and appeared on over 50 “Best of 2023” lists. Hi-Fi RUSH offers an electrifying experience where everything syncs to the beat of the music, from environmental cues to heart-pounding combat sequences.
PlayStation players can expect the full Hi-Fi RUSH experience, including the recently released Arcade Challenge! update which introduces two exciting new gameplay modes: BPM Rush! and Power Up! Tower Up!. In BPM Rush!, players must maintain a high combo while dodging obstacles and defeating enemies, all within a rapidly increasing tempo. Power Up! Tower Up! challenges players to build the tallest tower by defeating enemies and collecting power-ups, with the tower’s height determining the final score.
Hi-Fi RUSH stars Chai, a wannabe rockstar who becomes a “defect” after a rogue experiment fuses an old music player to his heart. Now hunted by a relentless megacorporation, Chai must use his newfound rhythmic abilities and the help of his ragtag team of allies to fight back and expose the company’s sinister secrets. The game features a thrilling soundtrack with licensed tracks from iconic rock bands like Nine Inch Nails and The Black Keys, further immersing players in the game’s vibrant world.
