BEIJING, China — HONOR unveiled its latest flagship smartphone lineup, the HONOR 300 Series, in China on Saturday, marking a leap in the brand’s technology portfolio. The series includes the HONOR300, 300 Pro, and the high-end 300 Ultra, which features advanced camera capabilities, enhanced display technology, and premium build quality.
HONOR 300 Ultra: Top-Tier Innovation
Running on MagicOS 9 based on Android 15, the HONOR 300 Ultra stands out with its cutting-edge hardware and unique features. It boasts a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate, delivering up to 4,000 nits peak brightness for exceptional clarity. Reinforced with HONOR’s Giant Rhino Glass, the screen also integrates an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner.
Equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, the Ultra model supports up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage, ensuring powerful performance and ample space for demanding users. The phone is powered by a 5,300mAh battery, capable of 100W wired and 66W wireless fast charging.
Sony IMX906 with OIS, 50MP periscope lens
The Ultra’s camera setup includes a 50MP main lens (IMX906) with optical image stabilization, a 50MP periscope lens (IMX858) offering 3.8x optical zoom, and a 12MP ultra-wide sensor. With the addition of an AI Light Control Engine, Honor promises lifelike images, even in challenging lighting conditions.
The phone also features Beidou satellite messaging capabilities and an IP65 water resistance rating, enhancing its durability and connectivity.
Other models in the series
The base HONOR 300 model offers a sleek 6.97mm profile and weighs just 181 grams. It shares the Ultra’s 5,300mAh battery and 100W charging, making it a lightweight yet capable option.
The HONOR 300 Pro, slightly heavier at 187 grams, mirrors the Ultra’s display and charging specifications but lacks the advanced camera system and satellite connectivity.
Pricing and availability
The HONOR 300 Ultra comes in two colors: Camellia White and Ink Rock Black. Pricing starts at CNY 4,199 ($577) for the 12GB RAM/512GB storage variant, with the 16GB RAM/1TB model priced at CNY 4,699 ($646). Pre-orders are underway in China, with open sales beginning December 6. International availability details are yet to be announced.
