MANILA, Philippines (Apr 10) – Looking for a smartphone packed with artificial intelligence features? HONOR has officially brought its new flagship, the HONOR Magic7 Pro, to the Philippines.
The device heavily features AI capabilities aimed at improving user interaction, photography, and security. HONOR positions the Magic7 Pro as a significant step in AI phone development, integrating intelligence from the operating system level upwards. It carries a price tag of Php 59,999.
“We are excited to introduce our latest flagship, the HONOR Magic7 Pro, which seamlessly integrates both on-device and cloud AI capabilities,” said Stephen Cheng, Vice President of HONOR Philippines. He added that the goal is to provide a “more intuitive, intelligent, and secure user experience” by reinventing the smartphone from its core components.
Running on MagicOS 9.0, the phone uses AI for tasks like Magic Portal, which allows users to circle on-screen items for instant information or app access across various categories like social media, entertainment, and travel. It also includes AI Deepfake Detection technology operating directly on the device to help identify manipulated content in video calls, enhancing security against scams.
Productivity tools benefit from AI as well. AI Translation supports real-time translation for up to 13 languages. HONOR Notes features AI Summary to create abstracts of notes and AI Minutes to extract key points from meeting transcripts. The phone also integrates the Google Gemini app for AI assistance, context-aware help, image creation, and conversational interactions.
Photography is another major focus, driven by the HONOR AI Falcon Camera System and the AI HONOR IMAGE ENGINE. The system includes a 50MP main camera with a large sensor and adjustable aperture, a 50MP wide camera, and a 200MP telephoto camera with enhanced low-light performance. AI models assist with portrait modes (Harcourt Portrait Modes, AI Enhanced Portrait), zoom capabilities up to 100x (AI Super Zoom), capturing motion (HONOR AI Motion Sensing Capture), and high-speed bursts (HD Super Burst).
Under the hood, the HONOR Magic7 Pro uses a Third-generation Silicon-carbon Battery with a typical capacity of 5850mAh (rated 5270mAh). It supports 100W Wired HONOR SuperCharge and 80W Wireless HONOR SuperCharge, capable of a full wired charge in about 33 minutes. The HONOR E2 Chip manages power and monitors battery health.
Performance is handled by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Mobile Platform, featuring the Qualcomm Oryon CPU and Adreno GPU. HONOR highlights AI Real-Time Rendering and an AI Predictive Scheduling Engine for smoother gaming and stable frame rates. Audio features include stereo speakers and bass enhancement.
The phone’s 6.8-inch display, called the Natural Light HONOR AI Eye Comfort Display, incorporates features like Circular Polarized Light simulation, 4320Hz Risk-free PWM Dimming, and low blue light technology to enhance viewing comfort. Durability is addressed with the HONOR NanoCrystal Shield, stated to be ten times more drop-resistant than standard glass, along with dust and water resistance.
The HONOR Magic7 Pro is available in Lunar Shadow Grey and Black. Pre-orders are open until April 25, 2025, priced at Php 59,999. Pre-orders come with free JBL Soundgear Frames valued at Php 9,499. Installment options are available through Home Credit, starting at Php 2,484 per month with 0% interest for up to 18 months.
