MANILA, Philippines (Jul 2025) – A stylist from Bataan and an engineer from Rizal are the new owners of a Hermes bag and a Rolex watch after winning a pre-order giveaway for the new HONOR 400 5G smartphone.
Smart device maker HONOR Philippines officially awarded the luxury prizes to the winners, a promotion that supported the launch of its latest “AI Phone.” The company partnered with Gentry Time Pieces and Purse Maison to hand over the items to Jonathan Cabreta and Michael Salazar.
Jonathan Cabreta, a stylist from Maribeles, Bataan, won the Hermes Mini Lindy bag valued at Php 420,000. He shared that he purchased two HONOR 400 5G units, one for himself and another for a family member. He was particularly drawn to the phone’s camera capabilities and its viral image-to-video feature.
The Rolex GMT Master II watch, worth Php 600,000, went to Michael Salazar, a real estate engineer from Cainta, Rizal. Salazar said his positive experience with a previous HONOR Pad purchase convinced him to upgrade his smartphone. He also praised the staff at the HONOR Store in SM East Ortigas for their service during the busy first day of sale on June 28.
The HONOR 400 5G features a 200MP AI main camera, a 12MP ultra-wide camera, and a 50MP portrait selfie camera. Its software includes photography tools like AI Super Zoom and AI Portrait Snap, along with editing functions such as AI Eraser and AI Face Tune. For video, it uses Google’s Veo 2 model on the Vertex AI platform to generate videos from images.
The device is powered by a 6000mAh silicon-carbon battery with 88W HONOR Wired SuperCharge. According to a press release obtained by our editors, the phone has an SGS 5-Star Drop Resistance rating for the entire unit and is IP66 rated for dust and water resistance, with a screen that can be used with wet hands. A Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 Mobile Platform handles performance.
The HONOR 400 5G, with a configuration of 24GB RAM and 512GB storage, is priced at Php 22,999. It is available in Midnight Black, Tidal Blue, and Desert Gold. You can purchase the phone at HONOR Experience and Partner Stores or online through Lazada, Shopee, and TikTok Shop. It is also available via Home Credit for as low as Php 979 per month for 18 months.
