Before its official launch, the HONOR X9c 5G set a Guinness World Record for “The Most People Performing a Mobile Phone Drop Test Simultaneously.” A staggering 264 participants dropped the upcoming smartphone at the same time, proving its exceptional durability.

This achievement, which took place ahead of the phone’s January 10 launch, marks a milestone for HONOR and Filipinos alike. “A win for HONOR is a win for the Filipinos,” said Stephen Cheng, HONOR Philippines Vice President. He teased that more big announcements are coming at the official launch event.
The HONOR X9c 5G boasts an all-angle triple defense feature with an SGS 5-Star Drop Resistance rating. It redefines industry standards with its ability to withstand two-meter drops. Adding to its ruggedness, the phone is IP65M-rated for water resistance, capable of surviving submersion up to 25 cm deep for five minutes.
Another highlight is the phone’s resistance to extreme temperatures. HONOR has introduced a unique “boiling test,” showcasing the device’s ability to endure conditions from -40°C to 70°C. This feature is sure to turn heads on social media.
