MANILA, Philippines (Apr 2025) — HUAWEI is entering the open-ear audio space with the launch of the HUAWEI FreeArc, a pair of wireless earbuds designed for Filipinos who want secure, comfortable wear during intense workouts without blocking out the world around them.
Set to hit Philippine stores this April, the HUAWEI FreeArc stands out for its C-bridge earhook design, shaped using data from over 10,000 ear profiles to offer a stable fit and all-day comfort. The unique structure—highlighted by a 140-degree triangle formation—helps the earbuds stay in place even during vigorous activities like running, aerial yoga, and sports.
With a focus on balance and comfort, the FreeArc uses an innovative Gravity Balance design to evenly distribute weight and reduce ear pressure. Its S-shaped curves match the natural shape of the ear, while the droplet-inspired hooks are made with 0.7mm Ni-Ti memory alloy, providing a flexible yet durable fit. More than 80% of the surface is wrapped in hypoallergenic, skin-friendly silicone for irritation-free long-term use.
Audio quality also gets a boost. A 17x12mm driver unit powers rich sound, supported by dynamic bass and adaptive tuning. For calls, the dual-mic layout and triple noise-canceling system cut out background distractions, while wind noise resistance ensures clarity even when biking or walking outdoors. Users can tweak sound profiles with customizable EQ modes.
Connectivity is also a strong point. The earbuds are built with smart antenna tech and interference-blocking features to maintain a stable connection across distances up to 400 meters in open spaces or 100 square meters indoors.
The FreeArc is HUAWEI’s first open-ear true wireless stereo (TWS) model with IP57 water and dust resistance, allowing it to withstand sweat, rain, and tough workouts. The metallic finish—complete with a premium runway ring created through a multi-layer PPVD process—adds durability while keeping the earbuds stylish.
