QUEZON CITY, Philippines – Kapamilya stars Jessy Mendiola and JC De Vera will once again capture the hearts of viewers as they top the bill of this month’s “Wansapanataym Presents: Just Got Laki,” which starts on Sunday (May 8).
With so much restrictions from his mother, 8-year-old Macky (Raikko Mateo) cannot help but envy his older brother, who is free to do whatever he wants without their mother’s permission. But with the help of a magic candy, his wish of becoming a grown-up will instantly come true and will give him freedom from her mom’s rules.
And as grown-up Macky (JC De Vera), he gets the chance to do things that adults are only allowed to do, including courting his crush Ysabel (Jessy Mendiola).
But a day of being an adult would not be enough for him so he will eat large amounts of the magic candy, which will cause for the candy’s power to be permanent and make him an adult forever.
Will Macky still be able to break the spell of the magic candy? Can Ysabel help him go back to his normal self?
Also joining the cast of “Wansapantaym Presents: Just Got Laki” are Angel Aquino, Albie Casiño, Nico Antonio, and Nicco Manalo. It is directed by Jojo Saguin and Allan Chanliongco and written by Noreen Capili.
