Jobstreet by SEEK partners with government to boost job access for Filipinos


MANILA, Philippines – Filipinos have a long-standing challenge when it comes to finding quality job opportunities, but Jobstreet by SEEK is stepping up to open more doors. Their recent efforts include participation in events like the Leaders and HR Symposium, initiatives like DIWA for women in tech, and joint programs with universities and TESDA. In a move to strengthen job accessibility, Jobstreet by SEEK worked closely with the Civil Service Commission (CSC) and joined the Leaders and HR Symposium. This event provided public and private HR leaders with cutting-edge insights on effective leadership and organizational development.

Supporting women’s advancement in tech with DICT

Jobstreet’s DIWA program collaboration with DICT empowers women by offering tech skill development workshops, aimed at increasing women’s visibility in digital industries. DIWA’s partnership included workshops attended by APEC delegates, highlighting Jobstreet’s dedication to digital inclusivity.

Enhancing company hiring strategies

Jobstreet partnered with the Philippines HR Group at the 2024 Philippines HR Summit, where their leaders shared insights on digital hiring trends. Additionally, they joined forces with Q2 HR Solutions for the HR Innovation Conference 2024, focusing on strategies for hiring resilience in a rapidly shifting job market.

Empowering job seekers through skills and accessibility

For Filipino job seekers, Jobstreet organized initiatives with leading institutions like Ateneo de Manila University, University of Makati, and TESDA. In a partnership for the Trabaho Para Sa Bayan Job Fair, Jobstreet collaborated with SM Supermalls and the Private Sector Advisory Council to host a nationwide hiring roadshow, connecting thousands of Filipinos with career opportunities.
