Lenovo and Ducati Team Up to Bring STEM Learning to the Next Level

MANILA, Philippines (Feb. 2025) — Lenovo is expanding its education technology lineup with new AI-powered devices and solutions designed to enhance digital learning for students and educators. Announced at the Future of Education Technology Conference (FETC) 2025, the company’s latest portfolio includes Windows 11 and ChromeOS laptops built for remote and hybrid learning. Lenovo also showcased its advancements at Bett 2025, where it highlighted AI’s role in education and unveiled a new STEM collaboration with Ducati.

“Education continues to evolve, and technology is key in shaping the future of learning,” said Stuart King, Lenovo’s Executive Director and Global Head of Education Segment. “We’re addressing the needs of educators, IT administrators, and students with reliable, AI-driven devices that foster engagement and efficiency in classrooms and beyond.”

Smarter, More Durable Laptops for Education

Lenovo’s latest education-focused devices combine enhanced connectivity with rugged durability. Built to withstand everyday classroom use, the lineup includes the Lenovo 13w 2-in-1 Gen 3 and the Lenovo 500w, 300w, and 100w Gen 5 PCs.

  • Lenovo 13w 2-in-1 Gen 3: Features up to an Intel Core 5 processor, a 400-nit touchscreen display, and AI-enhanced audio for improved usability. The laptop meets MIL-STD 810H durability standards and offers easy-to-replace components for longer device lifespan.
  • Lenovo 500w/300w/100w Gen 5: Equipped with Intel Core 3 N350 processors, these devices support AI-driven mic enhancements for better video collaboration. Lenovo Pencil Touch technology allows students to use a regular pencil as a digital writing tool, while Corning Gorilla Glass adds screen protection.

Security remains a priority, with Windows Secure Core PC features, dTPM 2.0 encryption, and a webcam privacy shutter to safeguard student data.

AI-Powered Solutions: Lenovo Device Intelligence for Education

Managing thousands of Chromebooks across school districts can be a challenge for IT administrators. Lenovo’s Device Intelligence for Education (LDI)—now integrated with the Google Admin Console—uses AI to monitor device health, predict failures, and recommend fixes. IT teams can track battery performance, application issues, and storage usage, reducing downtime and maintenance costs.

Smarter Charging with Lenovo Smart Charger

For classrooms relying on Chromebooks, Lenovo introduces the Lenovo Smart Charger, a compact solution that charges up to five USB-C devices at once. Designed for school IT administrators, this space-saving charger provides real-time battery monitoring, eliminating the need for bulky power strips.

Lenovo at Bett 2025: AI, STEM, and Future Learning

At Bett 2025, Lenovo reinforced its role as a leader in education technology. The company co-authored The Rise of AI in Education 2024, a study conducted by YouGov on AI adoption in UK schools. The findings explore AI’s impact on teaching and learning, highlighting its potential and challenges.

Lenovo also launched a multi-year partnership with Ducati’s Fisica in Moto (Physics in Motion) initiative. This interactive STEM lab at Ducati’s headquarters in Bologna, Italy, blends physics with motorcycle engineering. Powered by Lenovo ThinkPad workstations and ThinkVision monitors, the program provides over 11,000 students annually with hands-on learning experiences.
