MANILA, Philippines (Jun 2025) – Lenovo rolled out a fresh lineup of workstation solutions and desktop updates that could reshape how Filipino professionals tackle demanding computing tasks, from architectural design to data science projects.
The tech giant unveiled its Workstation Solutions portfolio at the NXT BLD conference, targeting engineers, designers, architects, data scientists, and creators who need more horsepower for complex workflows. The announcement comes as hybrid work arrangements become standard across Philippine businesses, creating demand for flexible yet powerful computing solutions.
“Many workstation power users have very specific requirements to achieve well-defined and ambitious objectives,” said Rob Herman, Vice President of Worldwide Workstation and Client AI Business at Lenovo. The new solutions aim to give customers tools that accelerate workflows and boost productivity.
The standout offering is Lenovo Access, designed for teams working remotely or in hybrid setups. This solution addresses a growing need among Filipino companies adapting to flexible work arrangements while maintaining high-performance computing capabilities.
Built around seven rack-mounted ThinkStation P3 Ultra Small Form Factor workstations, Lenovo Access delivers what the company calls “1:1 workstation access” – meaning users get dedicated CPU performance rather than shared resources. Each P3 Ultra SFF unit supports NVIDIA RTX 4000 SFF Ada Generation GPUs, Intel Core Ultra processors with speeds up to 5.7GHz, and up to 128GB of memory with 16TB storage capacity.
The system runs on Mechdyne TGX remote graphics protocol, enabling real-time screen sharing for design reviews and training sessions. This could prove valuable for Philippine architecture firms, engineering consultancies, and creative agencies collaborating across multiple locations.
Lenovo also refreshed its ThinkStation desktop lineup with four new models. The P3 Tower Gen 2 supports Intel Core Ultra 9 processors with integrated Neural Processing Units and will ship with NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell graphics cards starting in Q3 2025. The workstation delivers up to 3,500 TOPS of AI performance.
The P3 Ultra SFF Gen 2 packs serious computing power into a chassis under four liters in volume. It features up to 128GB of DDR5 memory running at 6400 MT/s, PCIe Gen 5 connectivity, and additional M.2 storage slots. The compact design makes it suitable for space-constrained offices common in Metro Manila’s business districts.
For even tighter spaces, the P3 Tiny Gen 2 measures just one liter while supporting Intel Core Ultra 9 processors and NVIDIA RTX A1000 graphics. The tiny workstation can drive up to six independent displays and includes WiFi 7 connectivity and Thunderbolt 4 support.
The entry-level P2 Tower Gen 2 targets students and professionals starting their careers. At 17 liters and meeting military specification standards, it offers Intel Core Ultra 9 processors with NVIDIA Ada Generation graphics, PCIe Gen 5 support, and faster DDR5 memory.
All new workstations include AI optimization features and ISV certification for professional software commonly used in Philippine industries like construction, manufacturing, and media production.
The Lenovo Access solution is available immediately through Lenovo sales representatives. The ThinkStation P3 Tower ships now, while the P2 Tower, P3 Tiny, and P3 Ultra SFF models will arrive later this month.
Filipino businesses looking to modernize their computing infrastructure while supporting hybrid work models should contact Lenovo representatives to explore these new workstation solutions and determine which configurations best match their workflow requirements.
