LG’s new air purifier is small enough to sit on a shelf but powerful enough to clean your whole room

MANILA, Philippines (Mar 2026) — Most air purifiers make you choose between performance and space. LG’s latest release is making the case that you should not have to pick.

LG Electronics has unveiled the PuriCare AeroMini, a compact air purifier built around the same 360-degree filtration system found in its larger units but in a form factor small enough to sit on a shelf, a tabletop, or the floor without dominating the room.

The AeroMini is designed for bedrooms, children’s rooms, and single-room apartments — spaces where a full-sized purifier would feel out of place. Its footprint is approximately 37% smaller and its height 30% lower than the LG PuriCare 360° Hit, one of LG’s existing models.

What it actually does

Despite the smaller size, the AeroMini draws in air from all directions and pushes purified air upward and outward through a three-layer H Filter. The filter is certified to remove 99.999% of ultra-fine dust particles as small as 0.01 micrometers, along with airborne bacteria, viruses, and mold particles.

For bedrooms specifically, noise is a real consideration. The AeroMini operates at as low as 26dB in Sleep Mode — quieter than a whisper — so it can run through the night without disrupting sleep.

A concealed filter cover at the base keeps the exterior clean and uncluttered, which helps it blend into different interior styles rather than sticking out as an appliance.

Smart controls and a surprisingly personal touch

The AeroMini connects to the LG ThinQ app for remote control and real-time indoor air quality monitoring. A four-color indicator on the device itself gives an at-a-glance read of current air quality without needing to open the app. The all-in-one filter design is built for quick replacement with minimal fuss.

What makes the AeroMini a bit different from typical air purifiers is its modular accessory system. Optional add-ons like a leather carry handle or a flower holder let users personalize the unit and adapt it to different spaces — a small detail that makes it feel more like a lifestyle product than a strictly functional appliance.

When it is coming

The LG PuriCare AeroMini is scheduled to launch in Southeast Asia in the first half of 2026, starting with Vietnam. A Philippine release date has not yet been announced, but LG Philippines has been included in the product’s communications rollout.
