Astrolikha Inc. will be launching the second annual Likha Art Fair, a local art festival that will be held in the communities of Cavite. With the theme “Discovering Beyond Aesthetics,” the upcoming Likha Art Fair aims to respond to the need to reconfigure aesthetics not only as a concept but also as a principle in the creation of art, not for the sake of art itself, but more for establishing art’s relationship with the lives of people.
This theme was conceived to show that the urge to follow trends, as a part of the current generation’s aesthetic, has a tendency to overshadow the importance of more pressing concerns that affect more people.
Likha Art Fair will have pre-events from October 2019 – January 2020 and will take place in multiple target venues on January 18, 25, February 1 and February 8, 2020.
