MAKATI CITY, Philippines – The Saturday Group of Artists partners with ABS-CBN Lingkod Kapamilya Foundation, Inc. (ALKFI) in uplifting the lives of the Filipino communities through art and culture.
LINGKOD: An Art Exhibit unfolds on November 15 – 22, 2014 at Greenbelt 3 Lobby, Makati to showcase the exemplary works of renowned artists in the likes of Lydia Velasco, Migs Villanueva, Anna De Leon, Buddy Ching, Buds Convocar, Carlo Ongchiangco, Danny Pangan, Roma and many more.
LINGKOD is one of the major events to celebrate ABS-CBN Lingkod Kapamilya’s 25th anniversary. It is a fund-raising event to uplift the lives of the communities in Bantay Kalikasan ecotourism sites through sustainable projects that protect the environment. Mindoro, Romblon, Palawan, Masbate, Sorsogon and Saranggani Province are among the ecotourism sites initiated by Bantay Kalikasan.
The Saturday Group of Artists is the oldest and most prestigious group of critically-acclaimed painters, sculptors and mixed media artists.
