Just a few days before Christmas and the opening of this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival from December 25 – January 7, 2018, we recently met up with box office hit director Bb. Joyce Bernal to get her thoughts while helming “The Revenger Squad” headlined by THE Vice Ganda alongside Daniel Padilla and 2015 Ms. Universe Pia Wurtzbach.
In line with the trend of superheroes in films and inspired by The Avengers series, Direk Joyce’s film version features Wurtzbach as super heroine Kwenie, Vice (as Gandarra) and Padilla (as Rapido), who collectively form the group called The Revenger Squad out to defeat evil forces trying to harm peace.
