Magellan Solutions ends 2024 in red and white

QUEZON CITY, Philippines – Magellan Solutions employees came together for a festive and memorable year-end celebration on December 21, 2024, at The Elements at Centris, Quezon City. Originally slated to start at 6 PM, the program was deferred to 7 PM at the request of CEO Fred Chua, ensuring that more attendees can participate in the raffle.

“Seeing that the tables were not yet full, I said, ‘No, extend the registration. I want everyone to be able to join,’” shared Chua during his opening remarks, highlighting his commitment to inclusivity for the team.

Opening remarks

The event began with a 4 PM registration, followed by an opening ceremony led by Ms. Irene Marce, who delivered the prayer. A roll call per cluster set a lively tone, further energizing the crowd.

Fred Chua officially opened the program at 6:15 PM with remarks reflecting on the company’s journey:

“As we finish another year and reflect back on 2024, we’ve faced many challenges, but what’s important is that we overcame them together. It’s this unity that makes us strong.”

Chua also emphasized the company’s aspirations: “Our vision has always been to be the best partner for small and medium-sized businesses. To achieve this, we focus on three things: continuous process improvement, unique client consultation, and developing our employees to succeed because if you succeed, the company succeeds.”

Entertainment and cluster performances

Dinner was accompanied by a performance from the Magellan Sessionistas, setting a festive mood. Later, the departments / clusters showcased their creativity with Christmas-themed performances, followed by the much-anticipated awarding of the Best Dressed Employees.

“Our Magellan family isn’t just about work—it’s about creating moments like these where we support and celebrate each other,” said Chua.

Raffle and after-party

The night also featured raffle draws, with both minor and major prizes handed out, much to the delight of attendees. The program concluded with a rocking after-party featuring the Magellan Band, extending the celebration until midnight.

Core values spotlight

Chua also took the opportunity to revisit the company’s core values, engaging employees to identify all six. “Integrity, teamwork, humility, dedication, initiative, and flexibility—these aren’t just words on paper. They’re what make us who we are,” he said.

He elaborated on the importance of integrity: “Integrity isn’t just honesty—it’s about telling the truth when it matters most, even when it’s difficult.”

Chua closed his speech with a message of gratitude and optimism: “As we approach 2025, let’s carry these values forward and continue to grow together. With the right people and the right values, there’s nothing we can’t achieve.”
