Did Maine Mendoza breach her McDonald’s contract for entering Jollibee?

After the controversial tweet of Sunday Pinasaya director Rich Ilustre, here comes another issue for the phenomenal tandem AlDub.

Maine Mendoza is now being involved to the case of “breach of contract” allegedly filed by Mcdonalds Philippines against the celebrity for entering Jollibee premises even she endorses the company’s products.

According to the post of Jared Earl Cruz (which a fake user, I guess), he posted,

“YAYADOG… may nakabinbing BREACH OF CONTRACT case mula sa pamunuan ng McDonald’s Philippines matapos kumakalat ang pagpasok nya sa JOLLIBEE na kinatatampukan ng mga Kapamilya endorsers like Sarah G at JaDine.

According to Article 1170 of the Civil Code which reads:Those who in the performance of their obligations are guilty of fraud, negligence or delay, and those who in any manner CONTRAVENE (VIOLATE) the TENOR (e.g. CONTRACT) thereof, are liable for damages.

In this case, lumabag si YayaDog sa kasunduang hindi magpakita o pumunta sa establisyementong karibal ng kinabibilangan nyang kumpanya na ini-endorso niya.

Kaya GOOD LUCK sa iyong parusa, YayaDog!

Napansin nyo ba na nawala na yung commercial nila na MCDO hahahaha dahil yan jan walang loyalty si Yaya Gums”

Breach of contract is a legal cause of action in which a binding agreement or bargained-for exchange is not honored by one or more of the parties to the contract by non-performance or interference with the other party’s performance.

It is allegedly said that Maine failed to perform to exclusively endorse Mcdonalds Philippines when a photo uploaded in social media showed that Maine entered Jollibee and had photo opportunity with Mcdo’s rival fast food chain.

It could be remembered that one of the first commercials of Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza is their Mcdo Commercial showcasing their new offering.

The issue is not yet verified by any parties involved but this is apparently a hoax.

What can you say about it? Is this an apparent move to demolish AlDub? Comment your thoughts.
