MANILA, Philippines – (UPDATED) The fight is on! Floyd Mayweather Jr and Manny Pacquiao will finally face one another in the boxing ring on May 2, 2015 at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas.
Manny Pacquiao uploaded a photo of the contract signed by Manny Pacquiao and Top Rank CEO Robert Arum (Bob Arum) in an Instagram post earlier today, confirming that the fight is on:

In response, Floyd Mayweather Jr uploaded a photo on selfie app Shots showing the same contract signed twice with his own signature as Floyd Mayweather Jr and CEO of Mayweather Promotions, LLC:

Manny Pacquiao later uploaded another photo of the signed contract, with a quote coming from the Bible:

Dan Rafael of ESPN confirmed that the bout will be set at the Welterweight limit of 147 pounds. The payout will be split 60-40 (in favor of Mayweather), with both fighters wearing their “usual brand of gloves”.

It is unclear how HBO and Showtime will be handling broadcast rights. HBO posted a tweet that Mayweather-Pacquiao will be live on Pay-per-view on May 2, 2015.

Showtime Sports EVP Stephen Espinosa later tweeted this photo, signed by himself, HBO Sports President Ken Hershman, Manny Pacquiao, and Floyd Mayweather Jr.
