MANILA, Philippines – ABS-CBN’s weekend legal drama “Ipaglaban Mo” hit its new all-time high national TV rating of 19.1% last Saturday (July 4) as opposed to its rival program “Karelasyon” with only 11%.

According to data from Kantar Media, more urban and rural homes in the country tuned in to the episode “Akin Ang Anak Mo” that featured the story of a mother who fought for a child that was already given to her by her biological sister.

This Saturday (July 11), Atty. Jose and Jopet Sison shed light on the case of Gigi (Meg Imperial), a woman with a flirtatious and liberated image who was raped by a guy to whom she is attracted with.

With how she is around him, there is no doubt that Gigi likes Ricky (EA Guzman) very much. Unfortunately for her, Ricky doesn’t take her seriously and only thinks she is just for fun.

One night, Gigi joins Ricky and his friends at a house party. She got so drunk that she passed out. It was past midnight when she woke up with Ricky pulling her to the floor. This is where Ricky forced himself inside Gigi with the help of his friends Nestor (Alex Castro) and Edmund (JC Santos).

Gigi cried rape but most of the people around her didn’t believe her because of her tarnished reputation. As she takes the case to the court, will her character and reputation affect the verdict?
