A photo of the upcoming Mi Pad 4 from Xiaomi has been making rounds on the Internet, prompting the Chinese manufacturer to post a teaser on its Weibo account Friday morning.
The images hint at ditching the fingerprint scanner in favor of face unlock, as well as a June 25 launch date.
It confirmed earlier reports that the Mi Pad 4 will have an 8-inch display, though the rumored Snapdragon 660 SOC remains unconfirmed.
Still missing are critical infirmation about the camera and battery, though leaked configuration files point to a single 13 MP f/2.0 rear snapper, a 5 MP f/2.0 selfie camera, and 6,000 mAh of battery juice.
Also revealed is the would-be price of the Mi Pad 4, pegged at 1,499 CNY or around 12,275 Php for the 6 GB RAM / 64 GB ROM Wi-Fi only variant.
Other tips hint at a price of 1,799 CNY or about 16,376 Php for the LTE model with 6 GB RAM / 128 GB ROM.
