Civil engineering should never be restricted by just structural innovations. Rather, every project made by a civil engineer should be dedicated to a core value.
In its 14th year, the UP Association of Civil Engineering Students, together with Review Innovations and Holcim, brings you the National Civil Engineering Summit 2019, where we aim to go #BeyondTheStructure.
This week-long event consists of:
InCEThink, with the aim of introducing high school students to the field of civil engineering through the Bridge Building Competition, High School Career Talks, and Lab Tours, happens on September 28;
The National Civil Engineering Quiz on October 5, where more than 100 teams of students from all over the country compete in answering a series of civil engineering questions to get the P60,000.00 grand prize;
The CE Career Fair, where participants have the opportunity to know miscellaneous engineering companies through the Job Fair and the Company Talks, with the participating companies of the Career Fair being:

and the National Civil Engineering Symposium – a series of talks emphasizing the importance of civil engineering as a course steadfast both in contributing to the industrialization of a nation and in the service of its citizens: hence, the theme, Beyond The Structure. The Symposium will be held on October 4.
In the midst of the social injustices, constraints are irrelevant – possibilities are limitless. The question remains: how far are you willing to go?
