Asia’s Nightingale Lani Misalucha returns to Philippine recording scene, after five years, through the release of her debut album under her new recording label Star Records.
Lani’s all-Filipino track album is titled “The Nightingale Returns: Lani Misalucha Sings The Greatest Filipino Songbook.” It features 12 OPM songs including its carrier single “Muli,” and Lani’s hair-raising collaborations with Journey frontman Arnel Pineda in “Maging Sino Ka Man;” and Angeline Quinto, KZ Tandingan, and Yeng Constantino in the track “May Bukas Pa.”
Completing the newest album of the Asia’s Nightingale are her revivals of hit songs such as “Anak,” “Paano,” “Ikaw Lamang,” “Pangako Sa’yo,” “Saan Darating Ang Umaga,” “Bulag, Pipi at Bingi,” “Gaano Kadalas Ang Minsan,” “Tayong Dalawa,” and her first ever rendition of a movie theme song “Starting Over Again” for Star Cinema’s blockbuster movie with the same title.
