MANILA, Philippines (Apr 2025) — Nubia launched its Neo 3 smartphone series in the Philippines with a high-energy event at SM San Lazaro in Manila, tapping into the country’s growing mobile gaming scene. The brand introduced three new models — Neo 3 4G, Neo 3 5G, and Neo 3 GT — alongside new ambassadors actress Jillian Ward and pro esports team ONIC Philippines.
The launch brought together fans, influencers, and gamers for a hands-on look at nubia’s latest gaming phones. Highlights included live gameplay demos, exclusive merchandise, and fan interactions with Ward and ONIC PH. Both praised the phones’ performance and features, saying the devices help push their gaming to the next level.
ZTE Philippines General Manager Gavin Lian said the Neo 3 series reflects the brand’s drive to make advanced mobile technology more accessible to Filipinos. He noted that last year’s Neo 2 sold over a million units, proof of strong support from local consumers. Lian added that the new lineup targets both casual players and competitive gamers, acknowledging the country’s passion for esports.
ZTE Mobile Devices Sales Director Liu Wenlong outlined the Neo 3 series’ gaming-first design. Key features include the NeoTurbo AI Engine for smoother gameplay, AI Frame Rate Stabilization, and built-in gaming shoulder triggers. The Neo 3 GT further boosts performance with a bright OLED screen, 80W fast charging, and a 50MP triple camera, making it a solid all-around entertainment device.
Each phone in the series is designed with a futuristic cyber-mecha look and RGB lighting, aiming to appeal to competitive gamers. The Neo 3 4G and Neo 3 5G come with 6.8-inch FHD+ displays and 120Hz refresh rates, while the GT variant offers peak brightness up to 1300 nits for outdoor play.
Beyond gaming, the Neo 3 series includes features like AI Super Night Shot and DTS:X Ultra dual stereo speakers, making it suitable for streaming and content creation.
The Neo 3 series is now available in the Philippines at Php 7,999 for the 4G model, Php 9,999 for the 5G version, and Php 12,999 for the GT variant. The phones are being sold through nubia stores, authorized dealers, and online platforms like Lazada and Shopee. Shoppers can also get exclusive deals during the April 4 sale and monthly Payday promos.
