MANILA, Philippines (Apr 2026) — OPPO’s A Series has a new entry, and it is targeting the sweet spot between budget and mid-range with a feature that most phones at this price skip entirely: serious thermal management.
The OPPO A6 Pro starts at PHP 13,999 (approx. $241) for the 5G variant and PHP 15,999 (approx. $275) for the 4G model, available at OPPO stores nationwide and online via Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop, and the OPPO Online Store.
Why the cooling system is the headline feature
The A6 Pro comes with OPPO’s SuperCool VC System, which uses a 4,300mm2 vapor chamber, an expanded graphite layer, and an optimized thermal layout to pull heat away from the processor during demanding tasks. In practice, this means the phone stays cooler during long gaming sessions, extended video calls, and heavy streaming, situations where most phones in this price range start throttling performance to manage temperature.
Two variants, two chipsets
The 5G variant runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 6300, which handles faster downloads, smoother streaming, and lower lag during online gaming. The 4G variant runs on the MediaTek Helio G100, a reliable chip for everyday multitasking, app switching, browsing, and media consumption. It is the pick for users who do not need 5G connectivity but want a capable daily driver.
