IBPAP President and CEO Jack Madrid shared the importance of these international collaborations, stating, “By strengthening partnerships with other nations, we are further positioning the Philippines as an investment hub for IT-BPM services, creating more opportunities for investment, growth, and innovation that will benefit not only the IT-BPM sector but also the entire Philippine economy.”

The four-day event in Tokyo was rich with learning experiences for the Philippine IT-BPM delegation. It included visits to top Japanese firms and attendance at industry events like Japan IT Week and the HDI Conference. A central highlight was the Philippine IT-BPM Business Forum, where IBPAP Chief Operating Officer Celeste Ilagan showcased the Philippines’ investment strengths. The forum also featured a valuable business-to-business (B2B) matching session, introducing Philippine delegates to over 50 Japanese business leaders and opening doors for potential partnerships.
