Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach has recently been featured in an Indonesian commercial of a supplement brand.
According to a GMA News Online story, the crowned Miss Universe went to Bali, Indonesia to shoot the commercial before she came to the Philippines for her grand homecoming.
The commercial banked on the theme of “true beauty” depicting various life scenarios where it can be found. She is seen taking photographs of ordinary but inspiring people who have their own meaning of “true beauty”.
Some of those featured in the advertisement include a father holding his first baby daughter, an animal rescuer saving a cat, a dressmaker crafting a yellow gown and a volunteer worker collecting trash by the sea.
GMA News Online said in its story that Pia was not the first beauty queen to endorse the same brand. “Previous Misses Universe Paulina Vega, Olivia Culpo, and Dayana Mendoza also appeared in a commercial for the same brand in 2015,” the story wrote.
Prior to being Miss Universe, Pia was first known as Pia Romero as she played roles on television and also did some modelling works.
The beauty queen said she wants to continue acting and modelling in the United States.
“If I have any offers here, I want to try acting, hosting or modelling, why not? I’ll definitely try that and see where it goes,” she was quoted as saying.
