Be Proud and United in the IDAHOT Celebration This May


MANILA, Philippines – In observance of the International Day Against Homophobia & Transphobia (IDAHOT) and the International AIDS Candlelight Memorial, Task Force Pride Philippines (TFP) and The Project Red Ribbon Care Management Foundation (TRR) are inviting LGBT organizations and HIV advocates to come together once again and show support for the community and share our stories and messages on May 17, 2 -9pm at Liwasang Aurora, Quezon Memorial Circle.

Highlights of the event include a Solidarity March, Solidarity Concert, Ecumenical Service and performances from various groups and artists. Celebrities who have confirmed their participation include Ms Rachel Alejandro, KZ Tandingan, Jonalyn Viray, John Lapuz, Marissa Sanchez, Sandino Martin, Rica Paras. Mayor Herbert Bautista will lead the candle lighting ceremony. There will be other surprise guests.

Organizations will be given the chance to share their statements or messages of support during the program. Kindly bring your banners, rainbow flags, placards and other paraphernalia. There will also be a pledge of support from all LGBT organizations after our solidarity march around the Quezon City Memorial Circle.

Let us  support and be proud of our colors as we raise awareness and give support to those within the community.
