#QCinemaShorts 2021 Winners Honored


Congratulations to the winners of the QCinema International Film Festival 2021 #QCinemaShorts  Category held December 4 at Novotel Hotel in Quezon City.

The Pylon for Best Film 
I Get So Sad Sometimes directed by Trishtan Perez

The NETPAC Jury Prize
Skylab directed by Chuck Escasa

The Gender Sensitivity Award
Ampangabagat Nin Talakba Ha Likol or It’s Raining Frogs Outside directed by Maria Estela Paiso
Audience Choice Award 
Mighty Robo V directed by Miko Livelo and Mihk Vergara
Other entries included Henry directed by Kaj Palanca and City of Flowers helmed by Xeph Suarez.

Present during the awarding QCinema Festival Director Ed Lejano, Jr., QC Film Foundation President Manet Dayrit and FDCP Chairperson Liza Dino-Seguerra.

This year’s QC Shorts Jury were Ida Anita del Mundo, Teng Mangansakan and actor John Lloyd Cruz.
The Pylon trophy this year was designed by Asian modern and contemporary artist, Mr. Ferdinand Cacnio.
QCinema International Film Festival was founded in 2013 in Quezon City. The annual festival screens local and international movies, short films, and documentaries. It also issues grants to help creators fund their film projects into completion.
