MANILA, Philippines (Apr 20) – Frustrated with lag and overheating during intense mobile gaming sessions? realme Philippines aims to solve these common issues with its upcoming smartphone line.
The company announced the realme 14 5G and realme 14T 5G will launch in the Philippines on April 29, 2025. Designed specifically for mobile gamers, these phones target problems like inconsistent performance and rapid battery drain. The launch event will be streamed live at 6 PM on realme’s official Facebook and YouTube channels.
realme collaborated with chip maker Qualcomm and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang developer Moonton to enhance the gaming experience on the new devices.
The realme 14 5G features the Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 processor. Built using a 4nm process, it boosts performance while managing heat. realme states it handles demanding games up to 120 frames per second and allows multitasking with up to 40 apps running simultaneously. It boasts a 2.3GHz clock speed and an AnTuTu score over 760,000.
The realme 14T 5G uses the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 5G processor. Its 6nm architecture focuses on energy efficiency. With a 2.4GHz clock speed and an AnTuTu score exceeding 460,000, it promises reliable performance for daily tasks and gaming.
To combat overheating, the phones incorporate an advanced Vapor Chamber Cooling System. The realme 14 5G has a 6050 mm² cooling area, while the 14T 5G has 1700 mm². The system uses a Superconductive Vapor Chamber, claimed to offer 10 times better thermal conductivity than standard graphite, quickly drawing heat away. A smart temperature sensor and a high-conductivity aluminum alloy frame further help regulate temperatures during long gaming periods.
Both models come with a large 6000mAh battery, offering up to 10 hours of gaming or nearly 18 hours of video streaming. realme’s Bypass Charging technology powers the phone directly while plugged in, keeping the device cooler during charge-and-play sessions.
realme’s GT Boost technology works to stabilize frame rates using AI, memory optimization, and a Hyper Response Engine for smoother gameplay. A Smart Dual-Channel Network feature aims to maintain stable online connections. Users can customize performance with GT Mode, AI Motion, and Ultra Touch Controls.
Color options for the realme 14 5G include Mecha Silver, Storm Titanium, and a limited Warrior Pink. The realme 14T 5G is available in Lightning Purple and Obsidian Black.
Fans can pre-order the realme 14 Series 5G until April 28. Pre-orders come with a free set of TechLife Headphones G1 (worth P2,199) and a discount of up to P1,000 upon claiming the unit.
