MANILA, Philippines (Aug 2025) — realme is putting fans at the center of its 7th annual FanFest this August, kicking off with a nationwide songwriting contest offering P300,000 in prize money and a spotlight performance from OPM band The Juans.
The monthlong celebration, themed “REALmix,” builds on realme’s growing tradition of blending music, stories, and rewards for its community. What started as a local gathering has since earned international recognition, with last year’s FanFest nominated at the Marketing Events Awards 2025 in Singapore under “Best Consumer Event: Product Launch/Re-Launch.”
This year’s FanFest has three main highlights. First, “The Real Soundtrack” songwriting competition is open to Filipinos 18 years old and above. The winning entry will not only bring home P300,000 but will also be professionally produced as realme’s official holiday track.
Second, the “Keeping It Real” series returns with fresh episodes featuring stories from fans and creators. The Juans and Aiyana Perlas, both long-time partners of realme, will share how the brand has supported their personal and professional journeys. New episodes will be released weekly on realme’s official Facebook page.
Finally, realme is hosting weekly “REALmix Giveaways” throughout August. Fans can join online activities for a chance to win realme products and merchandise, alongside special promos and discounts available both online and in retail stores nationwide.
