MANILA, Philippines – The best will be heading to the land Down Under, with the most dominant athlete in the world, Ronda Rousey (12-0; 9 Submissions), defending her bantamweight championship against three-division world boxing champion Holly Holm (9-0; 6 KOs). It will be a historic day in Australia on November 15th when the Octagon arrives in Melbourne for the first time at UFC 193.
Holm, who defended her boxing titles 18 times across three divisions will have her work cut out for her. Known more for her striking ability, she will have to mix it up with ground and pound skills to match Rousey’s own ground skills. Rousey on the other hand, is out to get another quick ending to another title defense. Her last three fights have timed in a combined one minute and six seconds, all ending within the first minute of the opening bell.
In the co-main event, it’s another world title fight, as Poland’s Joanna Jedrzejczyk puts her strawweight belt on the line against Canadian contender Valerie Letourneau.
