Last Wednesday we went to ASUS’ headquarters in Ortigas to test two RTX machines: The ROG GL12CX gaming desktop and the ROG GL704GW STRIX SCAR II gaming laptop.

We spent half a day trying to get some games up and running. After all, we had all that power right in front of us.

We desperately wanted to get at least one game to work – we really wanted to run benchmarks on an RTX-enabled game like Battlefield V or Shadow of the Tomb Raider, however, due to firewall restrictions we were unable to actually play anything.

We did manage to capture some benchmarks, though. Thankfully, I had purchased Port Royal earlier, and was able to download it on the SCAR II.
