PHILIPPINES – Samsung is launching the successor to the Galaxy A51 tomorrow, March 17 at 10PM (Philippine time). If it follows the current naming pattern, the successor to the Galaxy A51 might very well be called the Samsung Galaxy A52.
It will be revealed via livestream at the Samsung Galaxy Awesome Unpacked event worldwide.
Launched in 2020, the Samsung Galaxy A51 featured a Quad Camera module and a 4,000mAh battery. It also featured an Octa-core processor, up to 128GB of storage, and 8GB of RAM.
According to Strategy Analytics, a company that provides market research solutions, the Galaxy A51 was the world’s most popular Android smartphone in 2020.
Based on global smartphone shipment estimates during the first three quarters of 2020, more than 63,000 units were sold each day or more than 2,600 per hour.
