MANILA, Philippines (Mar 2026) — Samsung is pushing its AI camera and software features further down its lineup with two new mid-range phones that are now available in the Philippines.
The Galaxy A57 5G and Galaxy A37 5G are the latest additions to the Galaxy A series, bringing Samsung’s Awesome Intelligence AI suite, improved cameras, and up to six years of software support to a more accessible price point. Both phones are available now at Samsung Authorized Stores nationwide.

AI features that actually do something
Both phones run One UI 8.5, which brings a range of practical AI tools. Voice Transcription in the Voice Recorder app can transcribe and translate call recordings or convert voicemail audio into text — useful for anyone who sits through a lot of meetings. Object Eraser has been improved to produce more natural results when removing unwanted elements from photos. Circle to Search now supports multi-object recognition, letting users search multiple items in a single image at once.
The Galaxy A57 5G gets a few extras on top of the shared features. Best Face mode helps capture perfect group shots by selecting the best expressions from motion photo frames. Auto Trim makes video editing faster, and enhanced image processing delivers sharper detail and reduced noise compared to the A56 5G.
Both phones also support Bixby for voice-controlled device management and Google Gemini for more complex tasks across apps.
Camera and display
The triple-camera system on both phones is led by a 50MP main sensor with an improved Image Signal Processor for sharper shots across different lighting conditions. Nightography has been updated for cleaner low-light photos and videos, with improved subject and scene recognition for better portrait shots and more accurate skin tones.
The Galaxy A57 5G features a Super AMOLED+ display with Vision Booster for outdoor visibility, slimmer bezels, and a glossy finish with a distinctive triple-camera island design.
Both phones carry a 5,000mAh battery rated for up to two days of use, and both are rated IP68 for water and dust resistance — submersible in up to 1.5 meters of freshwater for up to 30 minutes.
Built to last
Samsung is backing both phones with up to six generations of Android OS and One UI upgrades, plus up to six years of security updates from the date of global launch. Knox Vault hardware security, a Privacy Dashboard, Auto Blocker, Theft Protection, and a new Private Album feature for locking personal media round out the security package.
The Galaxy A57 5G is available in Awesome Navy, Awesome Gray, Awesome Icyblue, and Awesome Lilac. The Galaxy A37 5G comes in Awesome Lavender, Awesome Charcoal, Awesome Graygreen, and Awesome White.
