MANILA, Philippines (Apr 2026) — Samsung’s most AI-forward flagship yet is officially available in the Philippines, and the pitch is simple: your phone should know you well enough by now to stop making you do everything yourself.
The Galaxy S26 Series, covering the Galaxy S26, S26+, and S26 Ultra, launched locally with Galaxy AI baked into every layer of the experience. Samsung calls it the brand’s “Most Intuitive Devices Yet,” and the AI features go well beyond the usual smart assistant tricks.
The AI features worth knowing about
Now Nudge is new to this generation. It reads what is on your screen and surfaces smart, contextual suggestions directly from your keyboard toolbar, cutting out the need to jump between apps to get things done. The upgraded Now Brief proactively surfaces reminders for important events based on your personal context, and it does all of this through on-device learning, meaning none of your data leaves the phone.
Call Screening tackles spam calls by having Galaxy AI intercept suspicious numbers, ask the caller who they are and why they are calling, and then let you decide whether to pick up. It is a small feature that solves a genuinely annoying daily problem.
Photo Assist now lets users turn a daytime shot into a night photo, remove unwanted people from the background, or add elements to a photo just by typing a description. Creative Studio handles sticker and wallpaper creation from sketches or text prompts. Audio Eraser, which removes unwanted background noise from videos, now works inside third-party apps like Instagram and YouTube.
Bixby returns as a conversational device agent, letting users adjust settings and navigate the phone using natural language rather than exact commands.
What the S26 Ultra adds
The S26 Ultra introduces Privacy Display, the mobile industry’s first built-in adaptive screen technology that controls how pixels disperse light. Only the person looking directly at the screen sees the content clearly; people nearby see a dimmed or obscured view. It runs on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Mobile Platform and supports Super Fast Charging 3.0, which reaches 75% charge in 30 minutes.
All three models are protected by Samsung Knox at the chip level, with a Personal Data Engine handling on-device AI personalization inside a dedicated secure environment.
Launch deals and pricing
Trade-in deals offer up to 45% off on all three S26 models when swapping an existing device. Credit card holders can get up to 12% off with 0% installment for up to 36 months through Metrobank, UnionBank, BPI, BDO, EastWest, and HSBC at participating Samsung Authorized Stores. Bundling with Galaxy Buds4 Series or a Galaxy Watch gets an additional 15% off, valid until March 31, 2026.
For those without a credit card, Samsung Finance+ offers up to PHP 15,000 (approx. $258) off with zero processing fee and 0% installment for up to 24 months. Home Credit offers 36-month terms at a 1% add-on rate per month.
