MANILA, Philippines (Jun 2025) – Samsung Electronics will unveil its next-generation Galaxy devices powered by artificial intelligence at its Galaxy Unpacked event on July 9, promising to transform how Filipinos interact with their smartphones.
The South Korean tech giant announced it will host the launch event in Brooklyn, New York, with live streaming available at 10 PM Philippine time on Samsung.com and YouTube. The company teases that AI will become the new user interface, moving beyond traditional apps to create smart companions that understand user intent and respond instantly.
“AI is rapidly becoming the new user interface, redefining our relationship with technology,” Samsung said in a press release obtained by our editors. The company claims its upcoming Galaxy devices will anticipate user needs rather than simply react to commands.
Samsung chose Brooklyn for the launch venue, citing the borough’s “extraordinary spirit and distinctive history” as fitting for unveiling devices that blend “visionary thinking and bold ideas.”
The event will showcase what Samsung calls breakthrough hardware designed to unlock the full potential of Galaxy AI. While specific device details remain under wraps, the company hints at significant improvements in performance, camera capabilities, and connectivity features.
Filipino consumers can complete registration to receive a ₱5,000 e-voucher and enter a chance to win a Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra. Early access to information about the new Galaxy Foldable is available through Samsung’s Philippine website.
