This San Beda Couple proves that love is an inspiration not a distraction.
Last April, college sweethearts Katricia Milla and Marvin Gio Miranda have taken Facebook by storm after their graduation photo went viral with over 40,000 likes and 3,963 shares as of this writing.
Milla, who posted the photo, shared how Miranda inspired her to excel in school and finish cum laude.
“This guy means the world to me. I look up to him whenever I feel like giving up. He’s one of the people who believe I could do things I never knew I could. I will not achieve what I have now without him,” she wrote of Miranda, who graduated magna cum laude.
According to ABS-CBN News.com, for the 20-year-old Milla, her boyfriend was God’s gift to her since he stayed with her though the tough times, giving her the courage to stand up and prove that she can achieve something.
“People say that we always lift each other up, as if one would not function without the other and every time I look at him, I always tell myself, ‘This guy inspired, inspiring and will inspire me in all ways possible,’ she said.
When asked about her advice to young couples, Mila said: “You do not have to rush, as love will come at the most unexpected time. Learn to be very patient, understanding and supportive.”
“And inspire each other in the best way you could,” she stressed.
