Megastar Sharon Cuneta became emotional during last weekend’s episode of “Your Face Sounds Familiar” when Callalily frontman Kean Cipriano came out on stage as Da King Fernando Poe, Jr. while belting out FPJ’s “Kamusta Ka.”
“Thank you Kean for respecting him by doing a great impersonation,” the Megastar told the Rebel Rock Royalty.
Viewers also caught Sharon singing along with “Kahit Konting Pagtingin,” which Mega also sang when she did a movie with Da King.
Even fellow jurors Gary Valenciano and Boy Abunda, who was a special guest juror, were all praises for Kean which led to him garnering the top scorer for the show’s third week of competition.
Next to him in the weekly rankings are Sam Concepcion as Janet Jackson, Michael Pangilinan as Nick Jonas, Denise Laurel as Alicia Keys, Kakai Bautista as Sheena Easton, Eric Nicolas as Bayani Agbayani, Myrtle Sarrosa as Armida Siguion-Reyna and KZ Tandigan as Bob Marley.
This coming weekend (October 3 and 4), more surprises are in store for viewers as Kean gives his best impersonation and performance as Avril Lavigne, Eric as Pitbull, Sam as Rey Valera, Myrtle as Marilyn Monroe, Denise as Neyo, Kakai as Donna Cruz, KZ as Jessie J, and Michael as Michael V.
