PHILIPPINES – The popular noontime variety show “It’s Showtime” will soon bid farewell to its TV5 viewers as it faces a major programming change. The show, which has been airing on TV5 since January 2021 as part of a content partnership with ABS-CBN, will have its last episode on the network on 30 June 2023. In a statement released today, ABS-CBN explained the reason behind its decision and announced some good news for its loyal fans.

STATEMENT ON “IT’S SHOWTIME”
ABS-CBN would like to extend its heartfelt appreciation to TV5 Chairman Manny Pangilinan for his support for ABS-CBN and for bringing “It’s Showtime” to a wider audience through our content partnership.
With the new programming movements in TV5, we are sad to announce that “It’s Showtime” will no longer be seen on TV5 beginning 1 July 2023.
For 14 years, “It’s Showtime” has brought joy and entertainment to our Madlang People here and abroad. We value the meaningful relationship we have built and nurtured with our audience in the noontime slot. It is for this reason that we have respectfully declined the 4:30 pm timeslot offered by TV5 for the show.
We assure the viewers of “It’s Showtime” that they can continue to watch their favorite noontime show on A2Z, Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, iWantTFC, and TFC from Monday to Saturday at 12 noon.
We are also very grateful to GMA’s GTV Channel and happy to announce that “It’s Showtime” has found another home.
Starting 1 July 2023, “It’s Showtime” will also be aired on GTV from Monday to Saturday at 12 noon. G na G na tayo, Madlang People!
We are thankful for the loyal support our audiences have provided for “It’s Showtime” and hope they continue to find joy and entertainment on the show as it seeks to find more ways to reach them.
PAHAYAG TUNGKOL SA “IT’S SHOWTIME”
Taos-pusong nagpapasalamat ang ABS-CBN kay TV5 Chairman Manny Pangilinan para sa kanyang pagsuporta sa ABS-CBN at sa paghahatid ng “It’s Showtime” sa mas maraming manonood sa pamamagitan ng aming content partnership.
Dahil sa bagong programming ng TV5, ikinalulungkot naming ibalita na hindi na mapapanood ang “It’s Showtime” sa TV5 simula 1 July 2023.
Sa loob ng labing-apat na taon, walang patid na saya ang hatid ng “It’s Showtime” sa Madlang People sa loob at labas ng bansa. Pinahahalagahan namin ang magandang samahan na nabuo namin sa mga manonood tuwing tanghali. Dahil dito, minabuti naming tanggihan ang 4:30 pm time slot na inalok ng TV5 para sa programa.
Tinitiyak namin sa mga manonood ng “It’s Showtime” na patuloy nilang mapapanood ang kanilang paboritong noontime show sa A2Z, Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, iWantTFC, at TFC mula Lunes hanggang Sabado ng 12 ng tanghali.
Lubos ang aming pasasalamat sa GTV Channel ng GMA at nakahanap ng isa pang tahanan ang “It’s Showtime.”
