No one has to be “born a leader”; believe it or not, leaders can be MADE.
This coming February 27-28 & March 6-7, The Management Economics Society of The University of the Philippines Baguio is launching its first major event of the year, “SIBOL: Youth Leadership Conference 2021”—a series of interactive leadership talks for senior high school and college students around the Philippines, which aims to instill a deeper sense of leadership amongst the youth and to inspire a meaningful impact on society.
Tune in via Facebook Live and listen to esteemed speakers Rep. Sarah Elago, Sonny Africa, Angelica Munar, Gab Campos, Handy Santoso, Mitzi Jonelle Tan, and with a special appearance by V.P. Leni Robredo as they provide critical perspectives vital for effective leadership practice.
Not only does the event serve as an avenue for learning, but also a way to give back to society. To conclude the event, an online benefit gig, “Himig ng Pagsibol”, will be hosted on March 13-14 for the benefit of Teach for the Philippines—a non-profit organization dedicated to providing quality education to all Filipino children. Witness exciting performances-for-a-cause by rising Filipino artists.
