The plug-and-play device is now available at a 50% discount for PHP 2,495, down from its original price of PHP 4,990. The device comes with a free 15 day unlimited data package.
Powered by Smart’s 5G network, the device is designed to be a flexible and reliable connectivity option for students, families, and entrepreneurs without the need for a lock-in contract or complicated installation. The company stated in a press release obtained by our editors that the router works in areas where fiber internet is not available and supports multiple devices at once.
With no monthly bills, the prepaid device lets users control their spending and avoid bill shock. Smart is also offering new data promos for the device. The new Big Data 99 offers 15 GB of data for three days, while Big Data 199 provides 52 GB for seven days. For larger data needs, Big Data 499 offers 120 GB for 15 days, and Big Data 999 provides 250 GB for 30 days.
All these data packages and promos are also available to existing users of PLDT Prepaid Home WiFi 5G+ and LTE. Smart said its 5G Max Home WiFi is available at the Smart Online Store, as well as on Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop, and Smart Stores nationwide. The device can be topped up through the Smart App, e-wallets, and accredited retailers nationwide.
