John Lloyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo surprised moviegoers at Powerplant Cinema 5 when they graced the screening of the digitally restored and re-mastered “Karnal,” which is part of the ongoing “REELive the Classics” restored films exhibition by ABS-CBN Film Restoration Project in partnership with Rockwell Cinemas.
ABS-CBN Film Archive and Restoration head Leo Katigbak posted on his Facebook account a group photo of him with John Lloyd, Bea, together with “One More Chance” cast member Bea Saw and director Cathy Garcia-Molina.
“Thanks for supporting our restoration efforts. Glad you enjoyed Marilou Diaz-Abaya’s KARNAL,” said Leo in his caption.
“REELive the Classics” is still open to the public until Tuesday (Sep 1). Get to watch restored films such as “Sarah Ang Munting Prinsesa,” “Got To Believe,” “Sana Maulit Muli,” “One More Chance,” “Oro Plata Mata,” “T-Bird at Ako,” “Karnal,” “Hindi Nahahati Ang Langit,” at “Tanging Yaman” in full HD.
