Star Trek returns to World of Warships with new missions and rewards

PHILIPPINES – Wargaming and Paramount Pictures bring Star Trek back to the popular naval MMO World of Warships, introducing three new Operations that add an intergalactic twist to the high-seas gameplay. Players can expect a unique mix of naval and space combat with rewards, exclusive Star Trek-themed ships, Commanders, and camouflages.

Set during a scientific gathering on planet Vulcan, players face the Borg Collective’s attack and can dive into missions to defend the Federation, Klingons, and Romulans. Available until mid-December, the Operations give players control of faction ships, with Commanders such as Picard, Spock, Sela, and Gowron to guide them in battle. Players can earn in-game rewards, including the iconic U.S.S. Enterprise-D and upgrades for enhancing ships’ capabilities.

In each Operation, players will command a destroyer, cruiser, and battleship with upgrade slots for experimenting with different module combinations. As they progress, players earn Star Trek tokens and can customize their ships with upgrades and limited-time camouflages, like the Borg skin for Yamato. Fans of Star Trek can enjoy themed armaments like phasers and photon torpedoes, merging sci-fi with classic naval combat.

With fan-favorite Commanders Janeway, Riker, the Borg Queen, and Worf now available, players can experience new strategies and gameplay within the vast Star Trek universe.
