One of the fastest-growing sectors embracing this market shift is the sports apparel manufacturing industry, which is continuously gaining more customers due to the increasing demand for customized sports apparel and uniforms year-on-year.
Digital textile printing allows manufacturers to print even the most complex designs and easily personalize uniforms with the name and number of each player with speed and efficiency.
GIG Sportswear, a clothing manufacturer in the Philippines who has been in the business for almost 3 years, employs Epson’s SureColor SC-F6270 for dye sublimation printing and plans to expand their business further to address the growing demand for personalized clothing in the sports scene.
“Aside from affordability, our clients will always look for quality,” said Nemar Castillo, owner of Gig Sportswear. “The SureColor F-Series’ new HD black ink ensures that our designs are brought to life with pristine colors, and we also found that Epson’s textile printers are ideal for our short to medium-volume dye sublimation fabric printing at affordable costs.”
In addition to supporting businesses through high performance and high-quality outputs, Epson’s C&I product range helps companies cut overall business running costs while reducing carbon footprint and ensuring safe printing solutions. Utilizing digital textile printers, like Epson’s SureColor F-Series, can help reduce water consumption by 60% and chemical usage and power consumption by 55% compared to traditional analogue printing[1]. With an Eco Passport Certification, Epson’s textile inks also meet international safety standards for chemical substances used in textile production.
To help more partners in the C&I sector achieve business transformation through efficiency and sustainability, Epson rolls out its ‘Go Big’ campaign which urges customers to go all out on fashion, industrial plans, signage, product branding, photography and more through Epson’s efficient, compact and precision textile, technical, signage, label and photo printers.
Moving partners to get into the spirit of ‘Go Big’, Epson Philippines gathered its C&I partners for the first installation of the Exceed Community Basketball League, held last October 26 at the Ynares Gym in Mandaluyong.
Epson employees and its C&I partners joined forces to form the tournament’s twelve main teams and went all out on colors and design with their customized basketball uniforms printed using Epson’s digital textile printers.
“In addition to quality output and affordability, the future of digital printing lies in sustainability, and Epson is fully committed to developing green technology and products to meet the Sustainable Development Goals set out by the United Nations,” Eduardo Bonoan, Epson Philippines’ General Manager for Marketing Division, said. “The Exceed Community Basketball League is a partner-driven initiative that marks the start of ‘Go Big’ in the Philippines, and our customers can expect to see more of this campaign on a storefront level in the coming months.
