The premiere theatre company of Colegio de San Juan de Letran will be heading to Thailand to stage GEN XYZ in the first ever Chiang Mai Fringe Festival of Performing Arts this October 24-27, 2019.
The stage play GEN XYZ was written by Jericho Zafra, Roni Mae Serrano, and JC Poblete with original music composition of Martin Apolinario and is conceptualized and directed by Teatro De Letran’s Artistic Director Lygie Carillo.
The play depicts the transitional era in the society from Generations X, Y (Millenials) , and Z (Centennials) conforming different social issues being faced by the country; a devised performance about the social, political, and pop culture enigmas of the Philippine Society.
This coming October 18 will be the preview show of the said stage play. The 3:00 PM show is scheduled for the Letran Community and 6:00 PM for the guests. These shows are blank ticketed and all the proceeds will be used for the expenses during the company’s stay in Thailand.
