MANILA, Philippines (May 2024) — TECNO Philippines drew thousands to Market! Market! in Taguig for the FlashSnap Fiesta, a three-day carnival launching the CAMON 40 Series. The event spotlighted pop superstar Sarah Geronimo, who was officially named “TECNO CAMON 40 Series Royalty.”
The celebration, held from May 8 to 10, blended mobile innovation with real-world interaction, inviting tech fans, pet lovers, and gamers to explore the CAMON 40 Series’ features. TECNO emphasized its “One Tap, Perfect Snap” promise through hands-on experiences powered by the smartphone’s AI-driven FlashSnap camera, 50MP ultra-clear lens, and IP68/IP69 dust and water resistance.
Visitors tested the CAMON 40’s motion-capture features at the Snap Action Zone through activities like slam dunks and spin biking. At the Snap Furry Zone, TECNO partnered with Pawssion Project to promote pet adoption, letting guests photograph rescue animals using the phone’s Pet Auto-Focus. The TECNO Hub featured a functioning aquarium, demonstrating the CAMON 40’s underwater photography capabilities.
Geronimo opened the event with a live performance of “Kilometro” and later engaged with fans and TikTok creators in interactive photo games. She also snapped photos with attendees using the CAMON 40 Pro 5G’s rear camera, cementing her role as the face of the brand’s push for spontaneity and authenticity.
Online personalities like Aningning, Zen Pro, and viral pup Theo Romeo joined the celebration with live esports battles at the Flash Game Zone, powered by the CAMON 40 Series’ high-speed performance.
To support accessibility, TECNO teamed up with Home Credit for 0% interest installment plans, offering daily payments as low as PhP27 and an additional PhP500 discount through May 10. DITO Mobile also contributed a free SIM loaded with UNLI5G for every purchase of CAMON 40 Pro 5G and CAMON 40 Premier 5G.
Cosplayers from games like Honor of Kings and PUBG Mobile engaged festival-goers, while Pawssion Project hosted talks and a pet fashion show. Local band Fantasy closed the final day of festivities.

The CAMON 40 Series, priced from PhP9,999 to PhP21,999, includes the CAMON 40, CAMON 40 Pro 5G, and CAMON 40 Premier 5G. All models are available online via TikTok, Shopee, and Lazada. The CAMON 40 and CAMON 40 Premier 5G are now in retail stores, while the CAMON 40 Pro 5G will follow after May 10.
The CAMON 40 is available in glacier white and galaxy black. The CAMON 40 Pro 5G adds emerald lake green, and the CAMON 40 Premier 5G is offered in galaxy black and emerald lake green.
