MANILA, Philippines (Oct 2025) – TECNO officially launched the SPARK Slim in the Philippines, touting it as the world’s slimmest curved-screen smartphone with an eye-catching 5.93mm profile and an initial sale price as low as PhP7,599.
The new smartphone, which has an official retail price of PhP9,499, aims to combine an ultra-thin design with powerful performance. The SPARK Slim manages to fit a 5160mAh battery inside its exceptionally slim body by using TECNO’s breakthrough honeycomb space stacking technology, which optimizes internal component arrangement. Despite its thin frame, the battery supports 45W fast charging, 10W reverse charging, and is built to resist swelling over time.
Aiming for durability and reliability, the SPARK Slim passed military industry certification and features a back cover made from aerospace-grade fiberglass, which is claimed to be significantly stronger and more flexible than conventional materials. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i, and the device carries an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance.
Style is a key feature, highlighted by the world-first Mood Light design on the back. This playful element uses two circular “eyes” that display various light animations for charging, incoming calls, and notifications, turning the phone into a tool for self-expression. The device weighs about 156g and comes in Slim White and Cool Black.
For power and speed, the SPARK Slim is equipped with the MediaTek Helio G200 chipset. It also features an advanced cooling system with an ultra-thin vapor chamber and high-conductivity graphite to maintain stable performance during gaming and heavy use.
The viewing experience is enhanced by a 1.5K high-resolution curved display with a 144Hz refresh rate and 4500 nits peak brightness.
TECNO integrated its own artificial intelligence features into the phone, including real-time translation, document summarization, and AI photo repair. Other notable features include Dolby dual stereo speakers, the instant sharing capability of Touch Transfer via NFC, and FreeLink technology, which allows direct Bluetooth messaging and calls without cellular coverage.
The SPARK Slim is launching with strong ties to the local gaming community, having partnered with the hit local game Honor of Kings (HOK). It is also partnering with TM Cellular Service under Globe Telecom, offering buyers a free TECNO x TM x HOK co-branded SIM card with up to 25GB of free data and customized HOK data.
The smartphone will be available both online and offline starting October 8. The official price is PhP9,499, but during the initial sale from October 8 to 10, the price drops to PhP7,999 on Shopee and TikTok Shop. Furthermore, customers using Spaylater at designated offline stores in October can get the phone for PhP7,599. Customers can also avail of 0% interest installment plans through HomeCredit, Skyro, and Kredivo.
