Teleperformance named ‘Best Company to Work For’ in Davao 2024 awards

DAVAO CITY, Philippines — Teleperformance (TP) in the Philippines, a global leader in business services, has been recognized for its significant contributions to Davao’s economic growth, winning top honors at the 2nd Davao City IT-BPM Industry Awards.

For the second year in a row, TP received the Madayaw Award for Best Company to Work For, the highest accolade in the enterprise category. The company was also awarded the Barani Award for its exceptional efforts in talent development, helping meet the industry’s demand for skilled professionals in Davao City.

TP’s partnership with Davao City spans more than a decade, beginning with the establishment of its first Mindanao site at the SM City Davao Annex in 2013. The site has since provided employment opportunities for local Davaoeños, bolstering the regional economy.

“We are grateful to our home city of Davao for recognizing TP’s contributions and enabling us to provide more opportunities to our fellow Davaoeños,” said TP Davao Site Director Michael Angelo Isleta.

In addition to employing a workforce from across the Davao Region, the company also attracts talents from other parts of Mindanao and neighboring Visayas. Thousands of TP customer experts power the site’s operations, supported by TP’s globally acclaimed Cloud Campus solution, which enables seamless service delivery anytime, anywhere.

Recognized for Hybrid Work Innovation

TP was also honored with the Barani Award for Best in Hybrid Work Implementation through its multi-awarded Cloud Campus solution.

Developed in 2019, TP Cloud Campus became essential during the global pandemic, enabling customer experts to deliver vital services remotely. The solution is equipped with AI-powered productivity tools and engagement programs to support employees working from home.

“Our deployment of Cloud Campus in TP Davao provided the necessary tools for our workforce and enabled us to achieve significant revenue growth despite global economic uncertainty. This perfectly encapsulates our growth framework of employing high-tech, high-touch services to deliver faster, safer, and better customer experiences,” Isleta added.

TP continues to leverage innovative solutions in the Philippines, offering tailored services and career opportunities while ensuring sustainability across value chains.
