Racing fans, clear your weekend — Toyota Motor Philippines is bringing the third race weekend of the 2026 TOYOTA GAZOO Racing Philippine Cup to the iconic Batangas Racing Circuit in Rosario, Batangas on Saturday, Aug. 15.
The races are open to the public and admission is free. Race Weekend 3 marks the TGR Philippine Cup’s first visit to BRC, the country’s oldest permanent car racetrack.
Wheel-to-wheel action on a technical track
Fans can expect thrilling action on the technical circuit where driver skill will be put to the test. The Super Sporting, Sporting, and Legacy classes will go head-to-head in the Vios one-make race car (OMR), while the Tamaraw class races in the Tamaraw OMR.
The Vios OMRs continue to use E20 fuel, a 20-percent bioethanol blend, while the Tamaraw OMRs are powered by B5 fuel, a 5-percent coco-biodiesel blend. The low-carbon biofuel initiative began last race weekend and aims to support national energy security and develop biofuel supply chains through multi-stakeholder collaboration, including the agricultural sector.
“As a new track for our Vios OMRs and Tamaraw OMRs, BRC will be an exciting challenge for our drivers. Our aim at TOYOTA GAZOO Racing has always been to provide opportunities for racers to push the limits for better and to bring racing closer to different car communities,” said TMP Senior Vice President for Marketing Sherwin Chua-Lim.
For the drivers returning to the paddock, the trip to Batangas follows the series’ earlier stops this season.
