CANDON CITY, Philippines (Apr 2025) — Toyota Motor Philippines has opened a new dealership in Ilocos Sur, expanding its presence in Northern Luzon to better serve local communities and support regional growth.
The newly launched Toyota Ilocos Sur dealership, located in Barangay Langlangca II in Candon City, is Toyota’s 74th outlet in the country. Operated by Toyota Dagupan City Inc., the facility is a full-service ‘3S’ center offering Sales, Service, and Spare Parts. It houses a four-car showroom and a workshop equipped with 47 general service and body repair bays.
Company officials say the opening of the dealership reflects Toyota’s commitment to improving mobility across the country while supporting the local economy.
“This is not just the start of a new business for Toyota,” said TMP President Masando Hashimoto during the ceremony. “This facility reflects the dedication of everyone involved. It will not only serve our customers but also help build community and boost the economy of Ilocos Sur.”
Toyota Dagupan Group President Rene So echoed the sentiment, emphasizing Toyota’s broader mission. “We reaffirm our mission of delivering happiness to every Filipino through mobility,” he said. “We look forward to being a trusted partner on your journey, ensuring that every drive is a safe, reliable, and enjoyable experience.”
Ilocos Sur is known for its well-preserved Spanish colonial architecture and natural scenery. It is connected via key roads like the MacArthur Highway and Ilocos Sur–Cervantes Road. Its cultural hub is Vigan City, while the nearest airport is in Laoag, around two to three hours away.
