MAKATI, Philippines – UNIQLO celebrates the first year anniversary of its Manila Global Flagship store located in Glorietta 5, Makati on Thursday. Spanning 4,000 square feet over two floors, it is the biggest store in the Philippines and Southeast Asia.
“UNIQLO Manila Global Flagship Store signifies the brand’s success in the Philippines and in the region,” said Geraldine Sia, Co-COO, UNIQLO Philippines.
“… we are grateful for the strong support we have been receiving since we opened our first flagship store in the country almost a year ago,” she added.
At the media launch held in-store, the company highlighted UTme! – a new t-shirt printing section where buyers can customize and print any design for free upon purchasing UNIQLO apparel.
As part of UNIQLO’s continuous efforts to connect with artists, UNIQLO’s Manila Global Flagship Store currently features pieces by Filipino industrial designer Kenneth Cobonpue.
The company also introduced LifeWear, a free publication that showcases styles available for purchase at UNIQLO stores.
UIQLO premiered its first roadside store in the Philippines last month.
